Prairieland members have dusted off their rides and took them on the road. We did a dinner cruise to Round Lake Winery in southern Minnesota, about 10 minutes from the Iowa border. We had a great meal surrounded by wildlife mounts and entertainment by live music. They were busy for a Thursday evening, so I’m guessing the weekends are even busier.
We also had a part in a car show at Railroad Days in St. James where there were 53 vehicles on display from the area. Later on, we participated in the parade. Lots of people waved as we drove by on July 4th.
The chapter was also at Butterfield for their Summer Sizzler. We enjoyed the food trucks and vendors and activities they had planned, although they did have to cancel the tractor pull due to rain. More on our summer activities in the next issue.
